One day, the animal detectives-Lion Kuba, Desert Mouse Patrycja, Giraffe Zofia, and Anteater Alfred-woke up as usual. Their day started with morning exercises, which were not only a way to get their bodies moving but also great fun.
A Morning Full of Energy
Every morning, the detectives gathered in the clearing in front of their house. Lion Kuba led the warm-up, doing a series of bends and jumps. “One, two, three! Higher paws!” he encouraged the others.
Giraffe Zofia practiced her flexibility, bending her long neck in different directions. “Look, I can touch my back with no problem!” she boasted with a smile.
Desert Mouse Patrycja preferred running quickly in circles. “It’s great for reflexes!” she said, making faster and faster laps around the others.
Anteater Alfred, on the other hand, liked calmer exercises. “Don’t forget to breathe! Deep inhales and exhales are essential,” he reminded them, making slow, yoga-like movements.
After exercising, everyone sat down for breakfast together. Their favorite treats awaited on the table: fresh fruit, crunchy nuts, and honey straight from the hive. Alfred prepared a special fruit mix with acacia leaves for Zofia. Patrycja munched on small pieces of bread with peanut butter, and Lion Kuba enjoyed juicy mangoes.
“This will be a good day!” said Kuba, licking his lips. “I feel something special is waiting for us.”
“I hope it won’t be anything too difficult,” laughed Patrycja. “But with us, nothing is impossible!”
Advice for the Animals
The first to arrive was Mrs. Gazelle, who had scraped some fur off her back during a race with a fox and a badger. Giraffe Zofia brought a special fur repair kit, put on a bandage, and advised Mrs. Gazelle to wear special running outfits next time to protect her fur from abrasions. She also suggested using a regenerating ointment and exercising on soft ground to reduce the risk of injuries.
The second advice was given to a Swan, who had trouble keeping balance while swimming in a strong river current. The detectives advised him to practice in calmer waters and use a light life vest. Turtle Żaczek also shared his experience, suggesting relaxation techniques to help stay calm in difficult conditions.
Suddenly, an anxious Mr. Badger ran onto the detectives’ farm. “Quick! Something strange is happening in the clearing in the middle of the forest!” he shouted, barely catching his breath.
Mr. Badger explained that during a picnic, the ground shook and something huge started growing out of it. It turned out to be a gigantic donut-flower-a flower looking like a decorated round donut. The flower grew to 20 meters in diameter and 3 meters high! What’s worse, three little rabbits and the fox Lucek were stuck on its top.
“We need to act immediately!” said Lion Kuba firmly. “Zofia, bring the ladder! Alfred, get the pneumatic cushion! Patrycja, grab the first aid kit-just in case.”
“On it!” the animals replied in unison and quickly began preparing.
Rescuing Friends
At the scene, they quickly set up the pneumatic cushion. The first little rabbit jumped onto it safely. The detectives applauded his bravery.
“Bravo! Now you!” encouraged Lion Kuba to the second rabbit.
But this one was afraid to jump. “I can’t do it! It’s too high!” he squeaked, scared.
Lion Kuba decided to act. He put on a special protective suit and climbed the ladder to the very top of the donut. “Don’t worry, I’m here! I’ll help you down,” he said calmly. He carefully took the rabbit in his arms, and together they climbed down the ladder.
The third rabbit was more inventive. “I can slide down like on a slide!” he said cheerfully. Giraffe Zofia bent her long neck to create a safe sliding path. The rabbit slid down it straight onto the pneumatic cushion.
Fox Lucek was the last one on top of the donut-flower. “I don’t need help! I can do it myself!” he said confidently. But when he tried to get down, his paw got stuck between the flower petals.
“Don’t worry, Lucek! We’ll get you out soon,” said Patrycja, who ran over with the first aid kit and rescue tools. After a few minutes of teamwork, the detectives freed the fox and brought him safely to the ground.
“Thank you all! You’re amazing!” said Lucek with emotion.
How to Shrink the Giant Flower?
When everyone was safe, the animals wondered what to do with the gigantic donut-flower. From the Wise Animal Book, they learned that it should be watered with lemon juice to shrink for another hundred years.
“But where will we get so many lemons?” asked Patrycja.
“Laurent the Fox has a lemon farm! Last year he complained about having too many,” Alfred remembered.
The detectives, along with other jungle residents, went to Laurent’s farm. There, the fox gladly gave them several sacks of lemons in exchange for help with the harvest.
“Thanks to you, I’ll have more space in the warehouse!” said Laurent with a smile.
With bags full of lemons, the animals went to Hippo Henry’s house, who was famous for his strength and juice-squeezing skills.
“Henry, we need your help!” said Lion Kuba.
“I’d be happy to help!” replied the hippo and started squeezing juice from fresh lemons using his special, leg-powered machine.
“But watch out! The bags are leaking!” cried Patrycja suddenly.
Juice began dripping onto the ground through small holes in the bags. The animals quickly grabbed tape and began sealing the holes. “We have to act fast! Otherwise, we’ll lose the juice!” said Zofia anxiously.
After a few minutes of intense work, they managed to secure the bags of juice. “Phew! That was close!” sighed Alfred.
Magically Shrinking the Flower
The animals returned to the clearing with the lemon juice. They carefully watered the gigantic donut-flower, which began shrinking more and more until it was tiny.
“We did it!” shouted Lion Kuba joyfully.
The detectives replanted the donut-flower in a decorative part of the forest and created a special plant reserve, which became a place of education for young animals and a tourist attraction in the jungle.

Well-Deserved Rest
After their successful mission, the animals returned home to relax on loungers and sip lemon lemonade while watching the sunset.
“That was one of our most extraordinary adventures,” said Patrycja with a smile.
“And proof that teamwork always brings the best results,” added Zofia.
And so ended another amazing adventure of the animal detectives!
