Morning and Gymnastics
The dawn in the jungle was especially gentle, and the sun’s rays lazily filtered through the dense tree canopies. In a little house right by the beach, where an extraordinary team of animal detectives lived, the day began full of energy.
Patricia, the desert mouse and the master of morning organization, was the first to open her eyes. She quickly tied her favorite red scarf around her neck and eagerly jumped onto the wooden floor.
“Wakey-wakey, team! Time for morning gymnastics!” she called out, holding up her favorite magnifying glass that she always carried in her pocket, just in case.
Soon, Leo the lion stretched lazily in his hammock, and his loud yawn made the windows tremble. Alfred, the anteater, climbed down from the loft carefully trying not to trip over his favorite blanket. Zoe the giraffe peeked through the window, noticing the morning promised to be cloudless.
On the clearing behind the house, Patricia led a short but energetic warm-up. Leo bent over, though with his mane, it was a challenge. Alfred gracefully moved his long snout, and Zoe, thanks to her height, effortlessly reached the treetops, pretending it was part of the exercises.
After returning home, everyone got down to cleaning. Alfred passionately polished wooden shelves, Leo took out the trash, Zoe watered the plants, and Patricia swiftly swept away the sand brought onto the veranda. When the house gleamed, it was time to wake up the parrot, Alia.
„Alia! Get up, it’s time!” called Patricia, tapping on the wall of Alia’s room.
„Just five more minutes!” Alia mumble, snuggled in her feathers.
After some encouragement, Alia finally got up, and their little family gathered around the table. Breakfast, as always, was colorful and full of flavor. There were juicy fruits, crunchy vegetables, gluten-free pancakes with fruit puree, and aromatic tea.
„And now, it’s time to start the Jungle Animal Help Day,” Patricia announced, hopping excitedly from one chair to another.
The animals looked at each other with smiles. They knew that today, someone would definitely need their help, and every puzzle, even the smallest one, would become an opportunity to work together.
Mysteries in the Jungle
First came the rabbit.
„Hello, animals!” he greeted. „My carrots have been wilting lately. They grow nicely but turn very green, even though I water them all the time.”
Patricia opened the „Wise Book of Animals” and began to read: „Oh, here it says that carrots shouldn’t be watered too frequently. It’s best once a week, on Wednesdays.”
„Okay, I’ll stop watering them till the end of the week and only do it on Wednesdays. Thank you!” said the rabbit happily and walked away.
Next appeared a turtle.
„Hi, turtle. What happened?” asked Patricia.
„I noticed someone is eating the trees. I don’t know who, but I can point out in the 'Wise Book of Animals’ what it looked like,” said the turtle.
Patricia opened the book to the page about felines. The turtle pointed at a picture: „It looked just like this, only it was pink!”
„Hmm, looks like Mrau Krau. This creature is an omnivore,” said Patricia.
The animals packed their gear and set off towards the place where the trees had disappeared.
Meeting Mrau Krau
At the scene, Alfred noticed a pink squirrel.
„Look! A pink squirrel!” he exclaimed.
„No! It must be Mrau Krau!” Patricia said. „Alia, fly there and check.”
Alia nodded, flew off, and returned with the message: „It’s definitely Mrau Krau.”
Patricia decided to act.
„Parrot, tie a rope to the strongest leaf, and we will climb up.”
When the animals reached the top, they saw Mrau Krau.
„Hi, Mrau Krau. What are you doing here?” asked Patricia.
„I was looking for food. I’m an omnivore, so I wanted to try these trees,” replied Mrau Krau.
„This place belongs to many animals. Please move somewhere else,” said Patricia.
„I can, but I don’t know how to come down,” admitted Mrau Krau.
„We’ll make an elevator!” Alfred suggested.
After an hour of tinkering, the elevator was ready. Mrau Krau rode down and was led to a portal that led to the cat world.
„Phew, mission accomplished!” said Alfred. „Alia, fly there and check if Mrau Krau has passed through the portal.”
The parrot confirmed, and the animals could peacefully begin their journey back to base.
They returned home and sat on loungers. They enjoyed what they loved most: chilling out and watching the beautiful lake and jungle.
The End.
