The Lost Tooth of the Kangaroo

Once upon a time, in the jungle, a typical morning unfolded. The animal detectives woke up, did their morning exercises, bathed in the lake, and then sat down for a communal breakfast. This time, Desert Mouse Patrycja had prepared a special treat – cheese cookies, cheesecake, and a camembert sauce. Even Lion Kuba appreciated Patrycja’s culinary skills and added a few drops of the sauce to his steak.

After breakfast, the animals made their beds, aired out their rooms, and began their morning consultations. Three jungle residents were waiting in line for advice.

First, Mr. Rabbit came forward. „Hello, Detectives I have a recurring problem with my orange teeth. I don’t know why they aren’t white anymore,” he said. The animals handed him a toothbrush, toothpaste with a special whitening formula, and a mirror.

„Please, Rabbit, wash your teeth with our magic paste, and they will shine again,” Patrycja suggested.

Next, Mr. Crocodile arrived with a vision problem. „Hello, Friends The more I dive, the more my eyes become sensitive and burn,” he said. Giraffe Zofia brought a vision test device from the lab and examined Crocodile’s eyes. It turned out that he had a lot of sand under his eyelids. Patrycja held his eyelid, and Zofia used a special pipette to apply a cleaning solution. Crocodile regained his good vision, and the animals suggested he wear diving goggles.

Then, Mrs. Kangaroo came for a consultation. „Good morning, Mrs. Kangaroo. What brings you here today? Are the problems with your pouch back?” Mrówkojad Alfred asked, remembering how she had once overpacked her pouch with acorns without noticing her little joey inside.

„No, it’s not that,” Kangaroo replied. „My little joey is now over five years old and has a loose tooth. Unfortunately, I’ve been trying to pull it out for three days, but it won’t budge.”

Lion Kuba, known for his enthusiasm, exclaimed, „Ha Pulling out baby teeth is my favorite thing to do I’ll help your joey right away.”

„Would you be so kind as to help my joey?” Kangaroo asked.

„Of course Let’s get started,” Kuba replied.

Lion Kuba tied a string to the tooth, attached the other end to Parrot Ala’s claw, and she flew over a tree, passing the string over a branch. At the end of the string, they attached a stone. The animals counted down: „Five, four, three, two, one, go!” Parrot released the stone, and the string pulled the tooth out. The little joey cheered.

However, the celebration was short-lived. The joey began to cry. „Oh no,” said Kuba. „Did it hurt?”

The mother kangaroo comforted her joey. „What’s wrong? Why are you crying? The tooth was barely hanging on.”

„My tooth Where is it? I need it under my pillow for the tooth fairy,” the joey sobbed.

Lion Kuba realized he had forgotten about the tooth fairy. His plan to pull out the tooth was perfect, but the tooth had flown away.

Luckily, Mrówkojad Alfred was calm. „Don’t worry, we are detectives, and we’ll find your tooth,” he said.

The animals put on their detective gear, grabbed a bag of tools, a magnifying glass, and Kuba took a metal detector. They began their search. Mysz Patrycja calculated the trajectory of the tooth and divided the area into four sections for each of them to search.

Meanwhile, Giraffe Zofia searched the meadow. She noticed Mrs. Owl in a nearby tree. „Hello, Mrs. Owl. I think I know what you’ve seen,” Zofia said.

Mrs. Owl replied, „I was sitting here when I heard a loud thud. Later, something white fell onto my head. I thought it was a prank, but there was no one around. I flew down and saw something white. I thought it might be a gift from the tooth fairy, as she often leaves teeth in my nest.”

Zofia explained that it was the joey’s tooth and that Kuba had helped pull it out. Mrs. Owl had a better idea. „Tell the joey that the tooth fairy asked you to keep the tooth at the lab, and in return, she gave him a little gift – a figurine I carved in class.”

Mrs. Owl handed Zofia a beautifully carved squirrel figurine. Zofia was delighted. „This is perfect The joey loves figurines and arranges them in his yard.”

Over the radio, Zofia informed the friends that the tooth had been found, and the tooth fairy had given a special gift – the squirrel figurine. The animals returned to their homes. The joey was thrilled with the figurine and forgot about the tooth.

Lion Kuba even brought a little panther figurine he had received from his cousin Agata. The joey was overjoyed and looked forward to the next tooth falling out. The kangaroo family said goodbye and returned home. The detective animals, after their successful mission, relaxed on hammocks, closed their eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

„Goodnight,” they whispered to each other.
