Lion Kuba, mouse Patrycja, giraffe Zofia, and anteater Alfred sat on the beach by the lake, munching on their favorite cookies. Suddenly, Patrycja spotted a strange flickering light over the water.
„Look” – she squeaked, pointing with her magnifying glass. „It must be a UFO”
Kuba adjusted his hat and narrowed his eyes. „Nonsense, it’s probably just a prank. Let’s go check it out”
The detectives jumped into a boat and rowed towards the light. Alfred stretched out his long snout, trying to sniff something.
„I smell… fish?” – he wondered aloud.
Zofia, who could see far with her long neck, suddenly chuckled. „Guys, it’s not a UFO It’s fireflies”
Indeed, as they approached closer, they saw a cloud of fireflies hovering over the water. But that wasn’t the end of the surprises.
„Hey, what’s that shadow under them?” – Patrycja asked, examining it closely through her magnifying glass.
Suddenly, a huge fish emerged from the water, swallowing a handful of fireflies. Now it shone like an underwater lantern!
„It’s a giant catfish” – Alfred exclaimed. „It eats fireflies and that’s why it glows”
The animals watched in awe as the fish dived and resurfaced, creating a magical light show.
„Well, I guess we solved the mystery of the mysterious light” – Kuba said, scratching his mane.
„Yes, but who would have thought it would be a glowing fish-party” – Zofia laughed.
As they returned to the shore, the detectives were already planning how to tell everyone about this extraordinary adventure. After all, it’s not every day you meet a catfish that throws a disco party over the lake!
